"After working with Jason I feel more confident moving forward in my "new" adventure as a college speaker. He has provided me with valuable and informative insights about working with schools and traveling to campuses."

I have over a decade of experience working in student activities, student engagement, and student leadership. Yet, even with those years of my own experience and then my career as a corporate speaker, Jason was able to provide a helpful new perspective on what it will take to navigate “life on the road”. His knowledge combined with his sense of humor made it fun to laugh out loud while "keeping it real" in our time together. I’m excited for the impact that I am going to have on campuses and I am so grateful to have connected with Jason!

Jason LeVasseur is an amazing campus partner to our Student Activities Office at Simmons University. "I walked away from Jason’s advising session with a different view on how to begin my meetings with student executive boards."

Jason is extremely entertaining, making his session very relatable and easy to follow. Rather than just diving into the work to get through the semester, having intentional conversations about what type of legacy they want to leave and how to recruit members in order to maintain that legacy are so needed for the success of the club. Jason’s passion for this topic is so apparent and authentic.

"I SO appreciate Jason's creativity, positivity, resourcefulness, and collegiality!  Jason is responsive, flexible, and great to work with."

Once we knew our campus was transitioning to online learning in light of the coronavirus crisis, I contacted Jason to discuss our options. I was elated at his willingness to rethink and redesign what we had originally planned. Jason offered to speak not just once to our students; he was willing to coordinate and help us promote a 3 - part online series designed to engage student leaders outside of their classes using the virtual platform, Zoom.

If you are seeking a virtual or in-person teamwork and/or leadership program, I strongly recommend Jason LeVasseur!

"I Having Jason speaking to your staff would be a huge benefit to them, and by extension, to your students. As he has shown time and time again, Jason is the best! "

I reached out to Jason LeVasseur, asking him to speak with my staff during one of our bi-weekly Advisor Meetings. I was hoping that he might be able to share some ideas with my staff as we prepared our fall calendar, anticipating that much of our programming would have to occur virtually. While that’s how the conversation certainly started, we soon moved into a separate, unexpected direction.

My staff started sharing some of the challenges we faced as a result of the sudden switch to remote programming. They expressed how difficult it was meeting the expectations set forth to continue providing high quality events that maintained the level of student engagement as our in-person events. And they shared their frustration and anxiety as those expectations had been ramped up for the upcoming year.

Although the conversation skewed away from the original topic, Jason easily adapted.

After listening to my staff (and myself) Jason started sharing some of the challenges he’s experienced and managed throughout his career. If anyone can relate to having to deal with the unexpected, last minute changes, and carefully laid plans being completely derailed, it would be a professional musician who has been on the road for over twenty years.

Jason gave examples of some of what he has experienced and shared strategies that he has developed to cope with these roadblocks and challenges. He then addressed each individual member of my staff and focused on their specific concerns and anxieties they were working through. And while the subject matter centered around negative experiences, the conversation itself was quite positive. The discussion left my staff feeling refreshed and cautiously optimistic for the upcoming year.

This was by no means what I had expected when inviting Jason to speak with my staff. That said, I could not have asked for a better outcome. I have had the opportunity to work with Jason on multiple occasions (as an artist, agent, and on NACA committees) and they have all been wonderful experiences. This was no different.
